A test cover for my comic book "What of the Knight?" I don't know if it will ever get off the the ground, but its really been fun planning it. I don't like the backgound, but I like the care-bearness of the crests. here's the Characters left-right top-bottom:

- Norman, A common servent for the king. Highly delusional and jealous of anyone who is close to the king. He gets his hands on some magic and causes some trouble

- Sir Dinadan, (Accually a minor knoght of the round tale in Arthurian legend) A high-strung, sarcastic, and slight obnoxios knight. He has a on-going feud with Sir Lancelot du lac, whom he sometimes seems overly obsessed with. Other than that Sir Dinadan not usually agressive and enjoys peacable hobbies like writing poetry and making daisy chains. The other Knights wonder about him...
Crest: A sword with wings, Valor

-"Sir" Morgan, A young girl who is mistaken for a man and knighted for helping defend the kingdom. She half keeps up the charade to protect the liability of the king. Sir Aiden is the only Knight who knows the truth, and he's such a romantic he doesn't say anything. She is dedicated to being a knight, and is very brave, but can be so overly feminine it almost blows her cover. Sir Dinaden wonders about this....
Crest: A Sword protecting a heart, Compassion

-Sir Aiden The Dark Knight, The Highest ranking of the three knights in the story, which is why he has more armor. He is far-traveled and knows alot about the world. Sir Aiden is perfectly cool with the idea of a female knight, saying "At least you're not a Feminist..." He's a huge romantic, and is hoplessly in love with a girl he never sees.
Crest: A sword with a black rose entwined around it, Chilvery

-The Jester, A sickly-looking young man who supposedly never leaves the castle. He has the markings of a professionally trained entertainer. And like most jesters found in these types of stories, he's mysterious and likes to stir things up.

How is it that in my search for things of Sir Dinadan, who I love, I would come upon someone from find_your_grail?

I'm starlightkissu from there, by the way.

What a small world it is when the Arthurian legends are involved.

I know, right? And Sir Dinadan is such an under-appreciated character! (and my personal favorite ^^)

I found about him via The Ballad of Sir Dinadan, by Gerald Morris. Have you ever read any of his books?
